I was born in Haute-Savoie, a land of mountains, but very early on, the Burgundy vineyards reached out to me. At the age of 11, a family friend, Patrick Hudelot, opened the doors to the mysterious world of wine. By the time I was 14, I already knew that my path would lead me through the vineyards. I chose to study viticulture and oenology in Mâcon, then in Belleville-sur-Saône.
My journey took me to Beaujolais, to Cairanne in the Côtes du Rhône, then to Domaine Tripoz in Mâconnais. But the call of adventure pushed me to explore distant lands: New Zealand, with its estates and its wines. In Waipara, Martinborough, Marlborough, Central Otago, I learned that wine is universal, but that each terroir tells a unique story.
On my return, for four years, I worked at Domaine de la Soufrandière, alongside Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. There, while filming La Clef des Terroirs, I understood that wine is a key that opens invisible worlds. Then, winters found me in wine shops, sharing these hidden treasures, while continuing my cinematic quests with Insecticide Mon Amour, Zéro Phyto 100% Bio and Vigneronnes.
In 2018, I followed the call of the Valais mountains, alongside Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, on her Fully estate. Three and a half years during which I learned that each grape variety, each terroir, is a lesson in humility. In 2022, I took over my first plot in Chamoson to create my first wines, and by founding Biodynamie & Cie to guide other estates towards a viticulture that is more respectful of its environment.
